By accepting this agreement, the participant shall comply with the following terms.
The tournament Copenhagen Invitational provides.
- Games conducted in quality facilities with strong game conduction.
- All meals of a standard quality from Thursday evening until Sunday lunch. Extra meals before and after the tournament can be ordered.
- Standard lodging in classroom on airmatresses in a local school. Ready made guest beds or hotel solutions are extra.
- Shuttle transport to/from airport/train station on the day of arrival (Thursday) and the day when the tournament finishes (Sunday).
- Transport between the arenas involved during the tournament.
- Video material from all games the team is involved in during the tournament.
Belongings.
The tournament of Copenhagen Invitational is not responsible of coverage of any lost or misplaced items during the tournament. Participants are urged to take care of their belongings. Stolen belongings in case of thefts is the responsibility of each participant.
Sickness.
The tournament Copenhagen Invitational has doctors on call and will assist if hospital service is needed. Each participant is responsible for holding a personal travel health insurance.
Transport.
The tournament Copenhagen Invitational cannot be held responsible for delays or cancelations of international transport. The tournament will provide shuttle service that will ensure the participants to be present for e.g. rightly check in as long as international transport times as been accepted by the tournament. The tournament Copenhagen Invitational is not responsible of any misinformation about travelers’ details sent by participants.
Equipment.
In case of a participant breaks any equipment in the facilities in use for the tournament acting careless, the participant will be held personal responsible for its replacement.
COVID precautions.
The tournament is following all current guidelines from the Danish Health Authorities, and participants must obey to current restrictions. Link for current restrictions in Denmark:
https://en.coronasmitte...-rules/covidtravelrulesIf any personal documentation is requested by Danish Health Authorities or travel carrier it is of the participants liability and responsibility to make sure to provide this (e.g. negative test results, vaccination documentation). Any additional expenses for documentation, tests or quarantine lodging are to be covered by the participant. At the moment it is free for foreign visitors to get tested in Denmark.
Cancellations.
As the participants in the tournament are depending on one another to get a high level experience, there are strict rules for cancellation. If a participant forfeits its participation, financial sanctions may be imposed and a compensation of 5000 Euro must be paid to cover the expenses of a replacement team.
As there is a global pandemic this rule will not be imposed if cancellation is due to COVID and it can be documented that more 1/3 of the delegation is contaminated. The documentation must be issued by a body recognized by the respective National Health Authorities. Documentation must be provided upon cancellation.
Deadlines.
The participant is obligated to keep deadlines for payments and timely informations relevant for the participation.
Force Majeure.
Please note that pandemics has been removed for the force majeure clause for the moment.
In the event of force majeure such as climatic conditions, act of nature, missing supplies, strikes, fire, explosion, acts, rules, regulations or orders from any governmental body or authority, and other events beyond the control of tournament Copenhagen Invitational or any of the suppliers, the participant cannot demand any compensation from the tournament Copenhagen Invitational.
The tournament Copenhagen Invitational may cancel a tournament if – within a period of 14 days prior to the start of the tournament – at the destination or in the immediate surroundings thereof – occurs acts of war, natural disasters, fatal infectious diseases or other similar events that are the subject to force majeure. The participant has, under force majeure, a claim for repayment of all amounts paid to the tournament Copenhagen Invitational. However, this cancellation right cannot be invoked if the participant knew about the situation when signing up for the tournament or if the event was generally known.
Confidentiality
The tournament Copenhagen Invitational confidentially processes the information of all the participants. However, in order to carry out the proper presentation of the tournament, participants names will be made public in live streams game sheets.
