Anmälan till Copenhagen Invitational 2026

The Objective
Copenhagen Invitational aims to reach out and obtain as many international relationships with as many top teams and national basketball federations as possible. We strive to maintain these relationships year in and out, and continue to work with them, as a tournament option for their talent development program.

The aim of the tournament is to serve the national federations in the development of their players, coaches and referees. This is done by creating a tournament, giving all three parties the best possible conditions to prepare and develop for the next level. The event is created in a competitive, friendly and safe environment.

Please go through the following process in registrating your team(s). If there are any questions during the process, please don't hesitate to contact us. We can always correct a registration, so please don't worry about putting your registrations in.

When you registrer your team(s) for the tournament you create a binding registration. Only reason from withdrawel from the tournament is a governmental ban from your respective government, hindering you in participating in the event.

Norway Cup is a meeting place for children and youths from all over the world, and our vision is to be "the world's largest and most important venue for the joy of sport and friendship". By accepting this agreement, the participant shall comply with the following terms.

What the Tournament Provides:

- Quality Games: Games conducted in quality facilities with strong game management.
- Meals: Standard meals from Thursday evening until Sunday lunch. Extra meals before and after the tournament can be ordered.
- Lodging: Standard lodging in classrooms on air mattresses in a local school. Hotel solutions are available at an extra cost.
- Shuttle Transport: Shuttle transport to/from the airport/train station on the day of arrival (Thursday) and the day the tournament finishes (Sunday).
- Transport Between Arenas: Transport between the arenas involved during the tournament.
- Video Material: Video material from all games the team is involved in during the tournament.

Belongings:

The tournament is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items during the tournament. Participants are urged to take care of their belongings. Responsibility for stolen belongings in case of theft lies with each participant.

Health and Safety:

The tournament has doctors on call and will assist if hospital services are needed. Each participant is responsible for having personal travel health insurance.

Transport:

The tournament cannot be held responsible for delays or cancellations of international transport. The tournament will provide shuttle services that will ensure participants are present for check-ins, provided that international transport times have been accepted by the tournament. The tournament is not responsible for any misinformation about traveler details sent by participants.

Equipment:

In the case a participant breaks any equipment in the facilities used for the tournament due to careless behavior, the participant will be held personally responsible for its replacement.

Cancellations:

As participants in the tournament depend on one another for a high-level experience, there are strict rules for cancellation. If a participant forfeits participation, financial sanctions may be imposed, and compensation of €5000 must be paid to cover the expenses of a replacement team.

Deadlines:

Participants are obligated to meet payment deadlines and provide timely information relevant to their participation.

Force Majeure:

In the event of force majeure, such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, fire, explosion, acts, rules, regulations, or orders from any governmental body or authority, and other events beyond the control of the tournament or any of the suppliers, participants cannot demand compensation. The tournament may cancel the event under such circumstances, and participants will be entitled to a full refund of amounts paid. However, this cancellation right cannot be invoked if the participant knew about the situation when signing up for the tournament or if the event was generally known.

Confidentiality:

The tournament processes participant information confidentially. However, participant names may be made public in game sheets for the proper presentation of the tournament.

We want to create a high level event every year, so all participants recieves a quality experience. We want to collect teams with different cultures and playing styles. To unite everyone and to avoid any dissapointments or surprises you are kindly requested to accept the following agreement.
